hey guys, i decided to use this opportunity for a captive audience to let you all know that i'm thinking of basing (part of ) my shiur off of the following article: http://www.ou.org/chagim/sefira/mystery.htm i would love it if you would check it out, and let me know your thoughts. i think it's super interesting. i would also love any and all information of resources that you might know of that actually supports any or all of the information that he states. who the heck is r. stolper? is he brilliant? famous? making stuff up?
on another note, i did a course eval. for my halacha class and it was overall very good!!! yay!!! the only overriding critique was that i wasn't strict enough. but overall they really enjoyed learning the material and felt that they grew spiritually from the class.
that was incredible for me. for all of you who know how i torture myself when it comes to my teaching, i'm sure that you're very happy for me too.
love this new blog thing! yay us!
by the way, howie, i've decided that beefcake is a definite compliment. it even has a slight sexual innuendo to it. i think it's crazy that they said that - daddy did they really use that lashon???
