i am absolutely gleeful with your blogs.
thankyou hyla for acting on this so quickly. i think we can have lots of virtual fun.
it helps me feel that we still have an intact family.
looking forward to every member joining when they have a moment. we can all get to know each other better that way.

bubie as you know, is sitting shiva until thursday morning. devora, howie, sarah and i have been dropping in on and off all day. in between our drop-ins i have had the opportunity to speak with everyone almost. i missed josh yesterday. i was so sorry about that. josh i would have picked up a cornbeef sandwich at marky's had i known.( josh was doing businesss in buffalo, and took a small 2 hour detour to visit bubie and then drove back home via buffalo.) a very long long day for him. but it made bubie very happy. she told everyone that "juss"came to visit.
bubie's friends have been wonderful. most are widows and are very sympathetic. bernie and hedda dropped in as well as cousin linda joffe. i have been staying with bubie in the evenings to serve her supper and keep her company. when she is with friends she is better. people help alot.

hyla told me that gidon celebrated a birthday. happy birthday gidon. i understand that hyla actually cooked you dinner. at least she told me that. hamburgers i understand.

thankyou ari and ilana for buying tickets to t.o. and ari for changing your on call schedule. we are all super excited. love to see what the children make of each other! too bad we can't take pics to send to israel.

it was very nice to be in montreal for shabbos with andre, shelly their children and their spouses and grandchildren. all of nelly's offspring were at her shabbos table. it was comforting. the little ones are sweet, and the couples all seem nice and happy. we got to know them much better.
(andre is daddy's only first cousin, son of nelly , shelly: his wife. they have 3 girls who are all married.)

to change the topic. my car is kaput. we need to buy me a new car. any ideas? howie?
