Hi All, Not much to say, but thought I'd write a thing or two.
Shabbat was nice. Fri night was at Avigayil's and Shabbat lunch was with young, newly married couples. There were about 4 Canadians at the table. Gidon continues to be super impressed by Torontonians. One guy at the table was from the States so Gidon and I did our usual "research" re. the States. We keep hearing how awful New York is -- no offense Ilana. Chicago and Cleveland and New Jersey (?) have very good reputations. But Gidon seems pretty set on finding a shomer shabbat residency which leaves us, we think, with New York. (Working on Shabbat is a problem at the best of times; but it's really problematic when you're doing a second residency, i.e., when it's not strictly necessary for your training). So this means we need a decently located, shomer shabbat, pediatric residency that offers H1 visas.
My favorite part of Shabbos is walking the streests of Jerusalem. All the flowers are in bloom and we live in such a beautiful, quaint area. We think we may never live in such a cool place again. I also always enjoy coming home to our place, even when we're coming back from somewhere really nice. I guess that's because it's our home...
Burgers Bar tonight. Yum.
Here's a picture I love:

I showed Shayna the above picture and she said: "I like my new uncle Gidon so much. And I especially loved putting my makeup and my dresses on him."
ReplyDeleteshayna and sarah were discussing gidon's funny accent over shabbos at our house. shayna asked sarah if she got her funny accent from the same place as gidon did.
